Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using EngineerImpact, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.

2. Eligibility and authority

You must be at least 13 years old, or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the service. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated. You may not share your account credentials or transfer your account to another person.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Engage in fraud, spam, phishing, or impersonation.
• Infringe intellectual property or other rights of any person.
• Interfere with or disrupt the security, integrity, or performance of the service.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or circumvent any technical limits of the service.
• Upload malware, viruses, or other harmful code.

5. Payments and subscriptions

EngineerImpact offers free and paid Pro plans. Paid subscriptions are billed by our payment provider on a recurring basis until cancelled. Prices are shown on the pricing page and may be subject to applicable taxes.

6. Intellectual property

MaryJane B Miceli retains all ownership and intellectual property rights in the EngineerImpact service, including its software, designs, branding, and documentation. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service in accordance with these Terms.

7. User content and data

You retain ownership of any content you submit or that we retrieve on your behalf from connected providers. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to provide the service to you.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely accurate. We disclaim all implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claims arising from or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the liability. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, except where prohibited by law.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay when due, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly violate our policies. You may cancel your paid subscription at any time through the dashboard or customer portal. Upon cancellation, Pro access ends immediately and no further charges will be incurred.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the service will be brought in the courts located in Boise, Idaho, USA.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post changes on this page and, for material changes, notify you through the service or by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
